Nothing hurts like losing your loved ones, and it is normal for one to seek revenge concerning their loss. Just like Eren from the Attack on Titan swore to kill every Titan left because they killed his loved ones, the same thing Lelouch did. Lelouch is the main character in this series, and he vowed to destroy the Britannia government because of the death of his mother.
This guy is full of hatred for the government because they ruined his happiness. There is something about this show that no one has ever cared to talk about; I don’t know if you have realized. This series differs from other anime series because the main character deals with the bad guys.

This series has a futuristic setting, as aliens are involved. In this series, there are some aliens known as MESS instead of the Titans. There is a certain group of people that has to face these aliens to protect the human race from being destroyed by these aliens.
At the beginning of the series, one may fail to see their similarities, but you will see how they are the same as the series proceeds. The group of people that are protecting the human race is known as Gatchaman in this series. At this point, the humans on Earth were fighting for their survival as the alien invasion also blossomed.
