Spy Classroom is one of my strongest recommendations on this list. The narrative unveils the life of a young girl named Lily who dreams of becoming a spy one day. So, while studying at Din Republic, she struggled academically. Team Lamplight was an elite spy group of six girls who were also doing well academically, and they recruited Lily.
The Impossible mission was presented to them, and it is now their responsibility to invade the Galgad Empire in only one month. Team Lamplight was to showcase and convince people they deserve to be spies.
At least we know that Klaus, the powerful one, is on our side, so there is nothing much to worry about. There is a lot of thrilling spy action that you shouldn’t miss for whatever.
11. The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody
If you haven’t heard about the most feared and respected character, let me quickly brief you about him. His name is Varvatos, and he has surpassed all the levels humans are expected to reach. Hence, fear was instilled in people, and they started calling him the Demon Lord.
With all the power he possessed, he seemed to be failing to get a true friend. He didn’t have a personal relationship with anyone and longed to be with someone.
After his death, he came to life as a son of a mere regular village couple. By now, he is called Ard Meteor. He had tried so hard to be a weak, regular human being, but still, his strength was too much for this life.
Ard doesn’t have any social skills, which makes it hard for him to befriend anyone. To add more to that, all that he had done before was haunting him until now; of course, there were consequences.
10. The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World
What do they say about being satisfied again? If you and I had learned this lesson, Haruyoshi Kuga could have also learned. He is the main character of The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World.
He was the strongest exorcist, but somehow, it was not enough, so he kept going down the hole, searching for power. This led to everything he owned being taken away, one of the greatest downfalls ever witnessed in anime history.
When he took his last breath, he did a spell while chanting that he should be brought back to life, but this time with improved schemes. He comes back as Seika Lamprouge, who unlawfully belonged to an elite family.
With all the wisdom and skills he had gotten from his past life, he gathered around his ride-or-die. He was to try by all means to make sure that mistakes from previous life do not happen again. Consequences were inevitable.
9. Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-
Not even one anime series should be skipped on this list because they are all just catchy. The story centres around Makoto Misumi, who gets into an odd agreement with a goddess.
He was to travel to another unknown world. The goddess did not find him attractive, so she ripped him off his title as a hero. Makoto was left without any understanding of human language but could only understand every other type of language.
Upon arriving at the faraway place he was sent to, but still possessing his magical and physical powers, his abilities begin to flourish. Meeting with all the creatures other than humans, he has no choice but to get close to them. The choice was left for him to see if he wanted to build a community with these people so his dreams would come true.
8. Trapped in a Dating Sim
Trapped in a Dating Sim follows the same story as Eminence in Shadow, where the protagonists are desperate for more power than the one they already have. They end up trapped in another world, just like the man in this show. He was fooled but only realized that when he was already living in a world where women rule the world.
Him being a dating simulator was a complete mess for him and he has to find a way to rise above all. He hustles his way to success, but this comes with its disadvantages. Spending so much playing games meant he would get less sleep and no time to eat. While on his way to solve some of his problems, he tripped on a staircase and fell.
The worst was yet to happen as he woke up only to find himself trapped in the game as Leon Fou Bartfort, the mob character. I said the worst because he is now at the place he never wanted to be. Leon was now to apply his knowledge of the game to ensure he wouldn’t die. It wasn’t as easy as I was saying it because everything was fighting against him.
7. Am I Actually the Strongest?
Get ready to be mind-blown by the story of the self-named Haruto, who is also transported to a new world. He was just a lonely 20 year old who the Goddess summoned from his tiny apartment.
When he gets to the magical room, he receives the news that his life is about to change. Haruto received magical abilities as he walked into this new world. When he was born, it looked like his magical powers were too small and irrelevant.
His new family wanted nothing to do with his useless powers, so they got rid of him. Flay came to his rescue during these times. She and her family, the Zenfis, had some features that resembled a fox. With time, his powers became more and more notable and useful where no one could dare him now.
As the dark forces come after his family, Haruto can no longer hide who he really is. It was now time to unleash the beast inside and save his beloved family from danger.
6. The Misfit of Demon King Academy
There is no way that you can enjoy The Eminence in Shadow and not be enticed by The Misfit of the Demon King Academy. The plot happens in ancient times when demons and humans are in a never-ending battle. Their conflict always resulted in a war that destroyed the face of the earth.
The Demon King, Anos Voldigoad, was sick and tired of these endless battles, so he ended his life. You might think this was a silly idea, but he was driven with hopes of coming back to life but in a different world where there is no chaos.
The demons built the Demon King Academy so that when their king, Anos, came, they would identify with and celebrate him. After a long two thousand years, he is reborn but only to meet with disappointments. He learns that all this time he was lying dead, magic levels had decreased, but he still enrolled in his Academy.
Anos is even more bewildered when he realizes his good anime has become just a mere intruder. He can no longer go back to his reputation, which had not been protected down the line. Because no one knows the roots of anything, he becomes the odd one out.
Of all the characters I have mentioned, no one ever felt lonely like he did. His next mission is now to investigate who deleted his glory in history. Who had distorted the information of who he really was? Anos sets out to make the real truth be revealed, and those who come after him should know the truth. His descendants were to know who deserved the honour.
5. Konosuba
In my opinion, Konosuba has to be one of the series where the protagonist dies for no apparent reason. But as fans, we always love how it eventually turns out anyway. The plot starts as Kazuma is shocked by the scene of a girl almost running into a car as he tries to save her.
Well, he died from the shock, which got the attention of Aqua, the Goddess. She summoned him to her presence to make fun of how he died. Aqua ends up sending him to reincarnate into another world after she is done laughing at him. Well, it didn’t turn out to be so bad, did it?
Kazuma is presented with an option to take something for protection on his way before he meets his new family. To get back at Aqua, Kazuma said she was supposed to go together with him.
There was no way to escape this, so they became citizens of this magical world. Weren’t they just dumb not to think they would need money and food for survival? So now they just have to start their hustle and fend for themselves.
4. Arifureta
Hajime Nagumo is the centre of the story narrated in Arifureta as he goes through tough times and betrayal. Some viewers would resonate with the backstabbing as much as it happens in a fantasy world.
He is just an ordinary otaku who is seventeen years of age. Hajime and his classmates were transported to another world and given the responsibility to save the human race.
Everyone else except for him was granted the most powerful abilities. They thought that his powers were useless and always made fun of him because of that. While they were in the Great Orcus Labyrinth for a mission, one of the fellows betrayed him, leading to him being trapped in the abyss.
It’s still shocking how he survived the unfavourable conditions, horror after horror. His life had turned into a mess, but his heart yearned to return home. Along the way to his freedom, he comes across Yue.
She was a captive vampire hoping to escape the labyrinth as desperately as he was. So they met more new people as they began their journey together, strengthening them with each step they took. Hajime’s development was notable, and all the fans gave him the credit he deserved.
3. One Punch Man
One Punch Man presents you with the same feel-good, thrilling action as The Eminence in Shadow. The protagonist, Saitama, didn’t seem too strong and wasn’t good-looking. Like many other characters, he wanted to become a powerful hero one day, and for three years, he trained himself. Saitama dreamt of putting his enemies down by throwing one fist at them.
As glorious as this was, it ended up being boring to fight people who you are just gonna defeat anyway. You know this battling thing needs some kind of challenges. There was a young cyborg named Genos who looked up to Saitama.
He had seen his skills and wanted to follow and learn from him. They ended up joining the Hero Association, as Genos suggested.
This would allow them to mingle with other heroes so their good works would not be in vain. There, they made new friends and, at the same time, made themselves enemies. Saitama and his allies engage in battles that give him the long-lost excitement of fighting.
2. Wise Man’s Grandchild
Wise Man’s Grandchild will definitely entice you, by no doubt, especially if you loved The Eminence in Shadow. The thrilling plot starts when this young man crashes in an accident and dies on the spot.
He wakes in another magical world where Merlin takes him in. This wise man makes his upbringing his responsibility like he was his father. Merlin started teaching him how to fight like a pro and use magic.
After fifteen years, Shin, as he is called now, goes out into the world to experience life alone. On this journey, he learnt that he wasn’t as prepared as he had thought. Merlin had not taught him about common, and it was only now that he realized he needed this.
It was a very much-needed skill to allow him to socialize with other people around him. He couldn’t afford to let his actions put him in compromised situations.
